Wow, that's a lot to have happen in a short time Brian! Glad the docs sorted you out with a pacemaker, my cousin has one and two other rellies had them too. You will have to be patient till you get the checkup over with and however annoying, thank goodness for pacemakers and what they can do.

Got quite a shock when I first started reading the thread till I realised how old it is lol

Get well soon, and behave!

In case anyone missed me last week (unlikely), I was in hospital having tests after passing out the previous Sunday.
Net result: a shiny new pacemaker to correct a slow heart rythm and low blood pressure, a sore shoulder and no driving until my follow-up appointment in mid September, no reaching above shoulder height on my left side and no bell ringing for three to six months.
Damned annoying !

Just been a bit busy (and a bit miffed for being RR'd for suggesting that Terry Wogan might be Irish).
However, OH is OK in that the tests have been inconclusive between bowel cancer and diverticulitis and she's not got any ongoing symptoms, so decided against precautionary surgery as the risk/benefit ratio was not favourable (surgery could be fatal due to her loss of half a lung 17 years ago and could lead to impaired health and a colon bag for nothing) and will get another MRI next year.
I've been busy with hospital appointments for her and other family members;
getting the garden into shape for a probable K9 Partners puppy; refelting the shed and summer house; looking for a heavier and more powerful car for towing the caravan; taking Shadow our 13 year old labrador to hydrotherapy swimming and accupuncture; collecting for FoodBank for 2 days (excellent result from Tesco customers, 87 boxes in one day to which Tesco will add 30% in value on a clubcard); an abortive day spent trying to see the South East Airshow at Manston; making notes to do a genealogy talk to our mens' group in September; a couple of fairly unsuccessful days at Record Offices; checking the research of one of OH's second cousins; and a few other things.
So not bored, just exhausted!

I expect Julia is lost down in her allotment, filling up her freezer for the winter. Hope so anyway and that that is the only reason for her non appearance.

Also hope Brian and Piers are ok too.

Brian's OH was quite poorly some time back - perhaps that's the reason
