	I hadn't realised she was still alive, what a good age she reached. I thought she was great in Eastenders - such a long time ago now tho. Rest in peace Anna. Lizx

	She was a good actress, actually hadn't realised that she was still alive.

	Actress Anna Wing, best known for her role as Lou Beale in the BBC soap EastEnders, has died aged 98. Thought she was a typical East End lady . reminded me so much of my maternal gran who became the matriarch of the family . Gran was born in Plaistow in 1884
