Errol

Did'nt you get a pm telling you that they can legally ask you to remove all posts mentioning ones name :-D

Rambling

Rambling Report 14 Jul 2013 17:49

Question: is an 'old board name' still an 'OLD board name' if it currently appears on the boards?

Mersey

Mersey Report 14 Jul 2013 17:50

You only had to look at the account number and the name to know that is one of the same person, just don't understand what was wrong with the post's and what is wrong with naming the poster when replying to a post.....

It makes for very confusing thread when this happens and once Liz will see the post reinstated she will see there was nothing wrong with the reply.

Such a shame this happened on a serious thread on the boards.

I can not offer any advice but have been following the thread with interest..

eRRolSheep Report 14 Jul 2013 17:59

GlitterBaby you keep your thoughts to yourself lol
I simply said what I thought would help

GlitterBaby

GlitterBaby Report 14 Jul 2013 18:08

Totally agree Errol

But I and others as soon as we saw your comments knew it would get sent for review and why.

Such a shame that one member has seen fit to destroy this thead completely by their actions :-P

Gee

Gee Report 14 Jul 2013 18:09

Why on earth has Errol' post been RR'd :-S

GR, please sort the member, who is spoiling the boards

GlitterBaby

GlitterBaby Report 14 Jul 2013 18:13

A slap with a pink slipper springs to mind here

But no action will get taken

GlitterBaby

GlitterBaby Report 14 Jul 2013 18:14

Well no surprise

Perhaps the person responsible for sending my post for review would like to pm me as to the reason why

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 14 Jul 2013 18:29

oh for heaven's sake grow up all
This is a serious thread
I did not report anyone and I find it risible that people are using this thread to score points

Mersey

Mersey Report 14 Jul 2013 18:29

All the RR'er is doing is trying to cause trouble amongst those who are posting at this present moment...

To get this thread back on it´s point

Liz step mammy has also taken further advice from a still head only to confirm what she would say. She will wait for your call if you need her.

Errol was posting good, sound, advice.

Apart from that I'm a bit confused.
Who said that the flat was a council flat ?- seems to me it was referred to as HA.

And aren't all organisations, companies etc Supposed to have a 'Complaints Procedure'. Isn't it the RULE. Sometimes a Rule is a good thing as it is with the complaints procedures.

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 14 Jul 2013 18:40

could anyone tell me why I was reported?

GlitterBaby

GlitterBaby Report 14 Jul 2013 18:44

Not got the foggiest Errol

Seen nothing on this thread that warrants being sent for review. Shame it will waste a lot of time by GR to deal with this

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 14 Jul 2013 18:47

of course

Errol, have I got this right?

Having been a school governor for many years, you disagreed with CupCakes. You queried the sending of letters to all and sundry at this stage.

You continued that if Liz still wished to pursue the matter then the correct action at this stage would be to write to the Chair asking that the matter either be discussed between the various parties with the chair present or brought up at a meeting. There was no need to involve MPs, councillors etc etc.

You were also puzzled by the comment about it being quite normal for the Chair of governors to be "chummy with the school head" , it being somewhat baseless and rather a generalisation.

You didn't mean to suggest for one second that this matter is not important to Liz and her family - it certainly is and has obviously caused upset and suggested it was not necessary to blow it up out of proportion unnecessarily.

You also referred to CupCakes' saying "unfortunately the complaints procedure are set down as rules" (sic) and queried whether the poster did not agree with rules.

You really hoped Liz's son and everyone else concerned reach a successful outcome.

:-)
