Walkies.

My rellies have been taking the -s 'cos they were skiving at Trent bridge and I was sweating at work Pifco fan on the desk roaring away. iPlayer is not quite the same thing tho' Sky do a pretty good job.

Quite often some people ask where to go what to see in England. Well, a first class match at Trent Bridge, the loveliest ground in England takes some beating. Nottingham is in any case a terrific place and all the pretty girls remind me of younger days. It has an excellent system of new trams so you don't need a car, though the train connections are pretty dire. For some strange reason the main station was demolished and turned into a grubby shopping centre.

This weekend the action is at Lord's and I'll take a day off.

I like the new look Baggies team. A hot summer, sailing and a close Ashes series. It is difficult not seeing the series going the distance. Who could wish for better ?

" There is a widely held and quite erroneously held belief that cricket is just another game.- Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh"

I can understand why anybody finds premier soccer boring. The Six Nations somewhat less so. ( Where is John Horlicks? ) Ashes cricket though is transcendental Gove should allocate (free) tickets in his new syllabus. Horse racing is much the same - anybody lucky enough to see Frankel at Ascot in 2012 will never forget.
