Lucky you Merlin.............I have been searching the skies and haven't seen a single swift.

We get song thrushes here Sharron, we live next to some farmland and they come and go throughout the day.

Les...........your house martins must have flown away with ours, 2 years ago ours vanished as well :-(

Sharron,,you lucky girl you...A thrush in the garden...Not had one here in Oxfordshire for 2 years now....Our house martins haven't been back for 2nd year and swallows at farm are easily down 50%....It's really sad.....LES..

We,ve got lots of them here in East Sussex, They nest under the Eaves,lovely to see them flying around. :-D

I hadn't seen more than a couple of swifts in years and there is a whole big group of them swooping about outside.

That is after I saw a song thrush up the garden last night.

It's all looking up.
