Whatever else, JC was an excellent researcher, she wouldn't give up on anything until she had shaken it this way and that, searched inside the box, outside the box, reconstructed the box, and invariably managed to pull a rabbit out of it :-)

AnnCardiff I have her email and talk every so often - will give her a shout over the next couple of days although I think I know what her answer will be regarding some members pmsl

Whoever came back or joined GR, I wouldn't give a carrot what there thoughts on other members were, nobody is bigger, or better than anyone else on here, that's just as it should be too.

JC? Who could forget her! We crossed swords several times but my respect for her was extremely high.

I'm sure that many of the helpers on here would agree that she is probably one of the best researchers around and that she has mentored and taught them new skills.

As to whether or not she will return, who knows? I do know that she is happily engaged doing research on another site and may not wish to return to be drawn into unnecessary aggravation on this board.

But yes.......I miss her too!

Gins, I don't miss anyone, because those who were members who I liked, I keep in contact with :-D

Why don't you contact Janey, then you wouldn't miss her :-D

As Joy said Gins It was a suggestion, nothing more. But by the heading of this thread, I read it as you miss her, because if you were in touch, I'd assume you would have asked her to come back, therefore not put the thread up?
