I use the za site Sylvia, but I have had constant Error messages for weeks AND it sometimes seems as though the site is gummed up by treacle. :-(

I suppose we could flit between the different sites, but why should we have to??

High traffic? And where would this high traffic be? UK? Australia? Canada? Mars???????????

Sorry, I can't accept that feeble excuse.

As for the claim of keeping a log............ :-P I find that hard to believe.

This happened to me a few weeks back and I reported it and below is the response I received, happened again a couple of times early doors yesterday and again this morning, when it happens I use the NZ site until Genes UK are back at their desks.

Response:-

I am very sorry for the inconvenience of the error message you are seeing. This error message displays when the server takes too long to respond and the request effectively times out. This happens mainly at times of high traffic, if you are adding to a thread that has a lot of posts or if your contact centre has a lot of messages.

We are constantly working to improve the sites speed and efficiency and keep a log of when the error messages appear to help us improve our service, so thank you for reporting this issue.

GR not loading with a vengeance at present!

SO annoying!

A double whammy as

I am also experiencing a continual pop-up on my Xoom (i-pad =) from

Motor blur services which I cannot delete at all!

Anyone else heard of this?

(If I can get this entry posted!)

FOUR TIMES!!

I'm having problems with posting on the boards.

Not ALL the time, but frequently.

Sometimes I can't even get to the boards, I get out of the site & try again.

I try to start a new thread........ watch the blue line creeping across, sometimes that can take a while.

I try to post on a thread...... nothing happens...... I press Submit....... nothing....... I try again........ and my post is repeated! I delete the superfluous ones.

SOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!

I rarely add to my GR tree now, because it's so slow!

:-(

GR is very temperamental. Recently it is very often much more than five minutes. Earlier it seemed OK but suddenly it dragged out to five minutes and nothing was happening.

Sooooooo frustrating.

five minutes?

is that all?

I've had problems with it for at least a week.
