Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 589 Send Message	Surprisingly, Ken, it could well be! I know they do count their dogs as being part of the police force in many places in the USA. Dogs that die in the line of duty get the works when they are buried.

	I see from the BBC News page that it is indeed a crime, to harass a police dog that is performing its duty.
