Nolls from Harrogate Report 24 Jul 2013 14:03

Times are changing Prince William is certainly standing his ground so who knows what the future holds for the little one. Though I would not like to be a member of the Royals he could have done worse been born into poverty and crime at least he will never want for anything!

And I feel sorry and angered that they are now camped outside KP ,hounding ,and invading yet again, they have only had one night fgs.!

,,,,,,,,,antics like this will make the couple even more protective of themselves and their son and drive a wedge between good relations between public media and the royals......The media promised they would respect their privacy but seems its been short lived.........

------Times are changing and by the time this tot get to be of military age it probally wont be a done thing if the young new Prince has no desire.....who knows.

His name went down for Eton the day after they knew he was expected. He might not want to join the military, his uncle Edward didn't like it! What else can a prince do??

:-(

A "cousin" of mine married into a royal family (I won't say!!!!!).... her mother is my 2nd cousin.

She's happy, but I wouldn't swap places.

Life in a goldfish bowl.

Then again, all our lives are in some way moulded by the circumstances of our birth, upbringing, financial restrictions and health etc.

Charles, Ann, Andrew and Edward are totally different in their interests and lifestyles despite being raised in very similar ways.

They aren't clones any more than siblings in most families, individual characteristics still makes a difference.

I wouldn't want to live my life being mainly judged by what the media make up or speculate about me and my loved ones...............would you? :-)

Not sure what you mean by 'no choice' - he can always abdicate.

William takes after his mother and thats good enough for me...however he was brought up it was the right way, you can see it when he is with people , the care the interest and the passion for others around him and not even in this country......William and Kate will pass that onto his children.......

i know what you mean,

imagine not being able to choose what you want to do, and i know its different to how it was years ago,

you still dont have total freedom do you, and there is things expected of you,

For the new royal addition

I feel really sorry for the poor little cock, he doesn't know it yet but he's been born into a life sentence, his life is going to be totally mapped out for him.

Just my opinion.
