The problems are still here for many members.

In the interests of keeping members up to date (as GR seem unable or unwilling to do this) I am more than happy to tell people via PM about what has been said.

error 500.0 internal sever error

This really is getting ridiculous!

Five days ago GR said "We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused and will keep you updated with our progress"

Nothing appears to have been said since.

So much for keeping us updated!

As for rolling the changes back - how long does it take?

Members are continuing to have problems - signing in, accessing some areas of the site, being signed out, waiting for pages to load, multiple postings and PMs, pages not loading at all, pages locking etc etc etc

Come on GR - at least have the courtesy of keeping us informed or are we to assume that you have done all you can and this is how it is to be now?

It has taken over a week now and does not seem to be improving for some members.

Did get one error message late last night but just had two while trying to get onto My Threads

I have not had any problems so far today - I did click accept cookies when I logged in.

Lilybids, make sure you accept the cookies otherwise you will keep getting signed out.

It's taken me ages to get in just now :-(

edit it's got about the cookies up again perhaps that is why

They might be tinkering again - I'm getting the error message trying to view anything on Travel and Immigration apart from the index

There would also appear to still be issues with whether a thread is flagged up as having new or old posts.

For example, how could a thread on which I was the last to post be flagged as having a new post?

Doesn't make sense.

On top of that, at times there is a dreadful time lag and as for PMs, who knows whether they have been sent zero or a thousand times?

It does seem to be sporadic and I noticed that I got the cookies message first thing again as well.

I think the continual signing in issue is to do with cookies.

this site is getting worse - this moring I have signed in no less than fifteen times - sometimes I can add to a thread with no problem and then I can't - "Log in" so I do and the it says "log in" again and again and again

I don't do correct protocol - I'm a bit of a rebel - all I can say my talk will be profound and meaningful

The correct protocol is to present your speech to the attendees aforehand.
Particularly as there are some who deny that the subject matter even exists. Would you believe someone even said there was not a problem with the site unless you use it 24/7? They must live in a cossetted bubble.
