Emirates are great to fly with, having recently traveled to Europe and back with them,
good service, good food and the stewards and hostesses can help if you are having difficulty with bags etc.

There is a big travel expo at least once a year around October and they always have good flight deals etc, the longer your parents can book ahead, the cheaper the price usually is...but personally would not recommend Qantas, of all the airlines i have been on they have been the worst for service etc, nothing particuarly special about them when other airlines can often be more competitive in prices (including Emirates which partners Qantas!)

We flew to Australia with Garuda many years ago...Must say it wasn't the best of flights but it was cheap....they may have improved in the last 30 years

check out the other airlines too, but I'm not sure if they all fly out of Perth.

We got a great deal with Malaysian airlines, Melbourne to Frankfurt, about half the cost of Qantas......... we paid for business class, cheaper than Qantas economy.

Try this site ZZzzz

http://www.airfaresflights.com.au/flights/Perth/London-LON/

In general I believe that the cost is usually around $1800 - $2000 with the major carriers (Qantas, BA etc)

Good luck..it's a trip I hope to make soon but my flight will be into Manchester

Edit: If your Aunt and Uncle live near a main shopping centre then there is usually a 'Flight Centre' shop where they would be able to receive more specific information.

Would someone mind looking at the cost of return flights from Perth W A to London Heathrow, booking in October to come here June next year, I would like to know because my Aunt and Uncle are hoping to come here for June and July so a rough idea on price would be great.
Thanks ;-)
