Hello, looks like I've missed you all, even though it's not even 3 in the afternoon!

Not long been back from whale watching - it was great! Saw a large pod of orcas, and one jumped right out of the water!. It was well worth getting cold and wet for.

Going back to Vancouver tomorrow, for one more night before flying home on Sunday evening. May not get a chance to post before I get home on Monday evening. Is anyone putting up a thread on Mersey's behalf? Go on, GP, you know you want ;-)

Hope your few days away do you good, Mersey! Will see you all when I get back'

Oh you poor thing.

South Glos is down sizing a wonderful hospital that is so easy for us to get to. We will have to go right into Bristol which is a bleddy nightmare to get to and park up. So we plan never to get poorly or need A&E ever again.

Is your Dad expected to stay in long. Sorry if I am being nosey.

I am not familiar with those areas, Loch Long and
Loch Goil, OHs niece lives on the Isle of Arran.
If you are ever touring up Braemar area have a look
at Loch Muick, pronounced Mick, have walked round
It many a time when I was younger, the views there are
also stunning and also from the top of Lochnagar.

Emma - Do you know Loch Goil and Loch Long. Did sea trials on a reseach vessel there in the ealy 1990's and the views were stunning. We then did the measured mile trials off the Isle of Arran.
