Merlin Harold Steptoe has nothing on OH. We have a walled garden with outline planning permission for three house on it, what does he do, I'll leave you to guess and after I landscaped it and made it a lovely garden. All I want is to outlive him, even by a day and say see you can't have it with you where you've gone. However, then I would be left with the clearing up, a catch 22 situation. :-| |

I know this thread isn't supposed to be funny but it is an insight on how we all would react to the given situation. |

Perhaps you should get a large tube of Superglue and glue his tools together or whatever, give him something to do instead of nicking your vac.Personally I would have thought you,d have gone out a bought the most expensive one available. :-D :-D |

Elaine, I know how difficult things are for you. I am not quite as restricted altho I do get a lecture at times, Sit down, I want to talk to you - like I am a five year old! Even if I am in the midst of cooking dinner or something, I am supposed to obey. Shame he wasn't as strict with his kids when they were running rings round him and their Mum. |

Does said vac have a powerful suction and one of those crevice nozzles? Would recommend waiting until the next time he has his back turned and is bending over ........ |

Think its called controlling behaviour. Would love my oh to hide all housework material. I would think I am on holiday lol Mine is controlling but to his own advantage. |

Thanks again you lot, not thought of that one Purple. My life is one mass of rules, " you're not allowed to do this or that" I am not allowed! :-P |

Knew I'd get a laugh with you lot and I needed one. Some of the suggestions are fab. My granddaughter found it for me and carried it up the stone steps. Carrying up is difficult owing to my having ruptured my hamstring 3 weeks ago. Now you tell me why if he could carry down a large upright vac, he couldn't manage a little stool if he needed it. I am :-S |
