Had a call from a very emotional g.daughter this evening - her beloved went down on bended knee and produced the ring.

OH and I very pleased - he is a nice dependable young man.

I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

We are over the moon - they are so well suited. OH went off this morning and got a lovely card. I then informed him engagement presents were the norm! That a cheque would be the best thing!!!!

Still have my 'harrods' hat from her mother's wedding - looks like it is fashionable now!!!!

It is such happy news and lifts us as on Thursday I was reporting to insurance we had subsidence.

Poor you, Chris, hope you get the subsidence claim sorted quickly and the work done to remedy the problem. Had to have part of my previous house underpinned when I was pregnant with my son, what a nightmare! Must have worked tho as the house has been sold on several times since I had it so mortgages approved.

Yesterday morning lounge door slowly opened and a ring finger with a shaft of light emitting from it appeared and after some waving around was followed by a radiant young woman who did not walk into the room but floated with a proud young man following.

There was full chat for about 3 hours, it was lovely. Their happiness spreads everywhere.




I know Liz - it is carport and patio this time. Main house has been OK and appears to be OK.

Only opened PC at 10.pm last night to check mail.
