The church where I was baptised 63 years ago has installed a Webcam. Nothing great I suspect to all those switched-on youngsters.

But, the progress of invention in this instance means I can watch church services there, if I desire to do so, while living in a different country, about 2 hours flying time. I tuned in this morning & was delighted to recognise one of the lay readers as an old teacher of mine in the 1950s/60s. Goodness knows what age he is now.

The wet and windy weather has arrived in Norfolk, so I've had to cut short my BlackBerrying expedition! :-D

I don't think it's meant to be as bad here as it is further north, so I hope you've all battened down your hatches! :-D :-D ;-)

Off to my plot soon to harvest some beans, sweetcorn, red cabbage, potatoes, chard, courgettes (which may have grown into marrows!) and squash. And a few weeds if I have time :-D

I'm fine, still sitting in bed with my iPad and a cup of coffee. It doesn't get light here in the mornings until about 7.00 so it always seems earlier than it is. Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
