I love Downton and refuse to answer the phone if it rings when it's on. I think it was six episode Ann but someone ight correct me as I'm not 100% sure.

hmmmmm karma sharma...it was all a bit too neat for me, pairing everyone off and tying up all the loose ends. Now, in real life, it wouldn't be like that at all at all... :-D :-D *sighs....but I shall miss it. <3

I think they tried to tie up too many ends in the final episode. It was a bit of a fizzle out at the end. And what was all that about pigs? Maybe pig farming became popular about then? I am not sure this series held my attention as much as the others but I will miss it.

How long would it take back then to drive to London? They seem to be going there at the drop of a hat. I do so hope Lady Mary cheers up, the sound of her monotonous boring voice is a real turn off for me.

I've just managed to see the last episode. I enjoyed it, but....

I felt really cheated out of not seeing Mr Green come to a grizzly end.
After all, Anna's rape episode was quite a powerful one (it certainly brought plenty of audience complaints), and it left everyone hating the smug Mr Green. SO, the way in which the news of his demise was delivered was almost as an aside, as sort of 'oh well, he's dead, that's that then' and on to the next thing....I felt it was real let down. The audience should have been given the satisfaction of seeing him suffer somehow, or at least squirm.
Am I alone in thinking this?
