YOUR LUCKY HE HAD IT CUT DOWN,,,,IT CAN COST ABOUT

£1,000 FOR A LARGE TREE,,

AS FOR THE WILDLIFE AND INSECTS THEY FIND

OTHER TREES AFTER ALL

Yes, Sylvia, it was. Neighbour's face was a picture. :-0

I knew conifers had shallow roots, but I didn't think they were THAT shallow. We did have heavy clay soil, so perhaps they couldn't get any deeper.
