Anniversaries are hard when they arrive, they do bring back memories. I hope all your memories make you smile today.

Thank you all for your kindness.
James, the poem is lovely <3

Elizabeth, I like that pic too.
Summer 1949, mum was 19yrs old and had just won a local beauty competion at the fair in her Donegal home town.
That's the day she met my Dad who was in Ireland on holiday.

She came over to Glasgow a few months later, and they were married just before Christmas. <3 <3 <3

Dear GlasgowLass

Hello

I like the picture of your mum. :-)

Anniversaries are always very painful and hard and two years is not that long
to recover from loss.

It is wonderful news that your mum has a new great-grandchild.

Welcome to the world greetings to the little one.

Hope the mother takes things easy for a while.

Caring thoughts to you and your family.

Take gentle care
My love Elizabeth, EOS
xx

Memories a poem by Louise Bailey

I feel a warmth around me
like your presence is so near,
And I close my eyes to visualize
your face when you were here,
I endure the times we spent together
and they are locked inside my heart,
For as long as I have those memories
we will never be apart,
Even though we cannot speak no more
my voice is always there,
Because every night before I sleep
I have you in my prayer.
