Came in as an update to ipad and OH wishes he hadn't downloaded
it.
Is there anyway it can be removed.

Me too!! it insisted you downloaded it and not that impressed. Hate the keyboard colour and having to put passcode in every time to open it

Had to delete Bingo off my I pad cos it wasnt compatible with IOS7

He keeps getting it on his mobile but has not downloaded it.

I prefer the previous version, this one is all too light and bright. I put a password on and took it off again in settings. I had to change the time and since changing to IOS7 I keep getting logged out of different sites which is annoying. I also changed the text to bold but doesn't it work on all screens.

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

Has anybody found out how to do a search yet? Two clicks of the on off button used to bring up a search box...now I find myself asking Siri who can't seem to understand plain English :-(

To open a new search page....click on Safari....click o the + sign and a box appears along the top .....type in your search request.....click on search or enter/return

To close down open apps and programmes that when running in the background drain the battery. Double press the home on/off button and all open programmes appear. To close them, one at a time, swipe them upwards off the screen.

Got it! :-D

Swipe down and the iPad search box appears at the top.


Edit:- swipe down at the bottom of the screen. If you swipe down at the top you get the calendar etc.

I think it may vary according to which model you have. I've got the ipad2.

Have you tried going on iTunes with your iPad plugged in and returning to old os? it should be backed up.

As am not very good my sil is going to sort our ipads back
to 6, lucky my OH has not downloaded IOS 7 to his mobile.
