Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale who brutally attacked and hacked soldier Fusilier Lee Rigby to death have been found guilty of his murder but not guilty of attempting to murder a police officer.

I hope they throw away the keys to their cells :-|

They attempted to behead a young soldier in public - unfortunately we cannot turn the clock back, if we could, perhaps a public execution by beheading at the Tower of London would have been a sentence that fitted this barbaric crime.

They will be sentenced after the New Year, hopefully after that, the family will be able to start to come to terms with their loss and find closure, however the horrific evidence they seen and heard during the trial must have been extremely distressing for them and finding closure will not be easy.

In their eyes, it was a war crime and they expected martyrdom.

What I am confused about is who is at war with whom? Who were they so angry with? What were they so angry about that they decided to die for their cause?

Is it white skinned people? Is it Christians? Is it British and American subjects? Is it Jews? Is it Hindus? Is it Muslims who read the Q'ran in a more peaceable way? Is it the British and American army? The Nigerian army? Honestly, I am confused. And I suspect they are even more confused.

I have friends who are dark Muslims and white Muslims and in between. And they practice their religion in relative peace in Cardiff, in Leicester, in New York.

Who were these British boys with a black African CHRISTIAN background actually angry with? And why did they focus their anger on a random chap like Lee Rigby?

Anyone who is not Their Type of Muslim. :-|

Don't think we should turn this into a discussion about good or bad Muslims, there are good, bad, and evil people in all walks of life - no matter their colour, nationality, or their faith/religion/beliefs :-(

I hope they rot in hell but I expect they will have a nice easy life in jail unless the other prisoners get to them.

Jangling the jail keys will not deter miscreants from carrying-on.

I think that they should be made to work with pigs, for the rest of their lives....

Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale who hacked soldier Fusilier Lee Rigby to death, have just been sentenced at The Old Bailey and Michael Adebolajo must serve a whole life tariff, under current guidelines, this sentence means he will never be released and Michael Adebowale must serve a minimum of 45 years.

and watching the coverage on the BBC news I do hope the police noted the guy in the bright blue anorak exposing his rear end to the cameras and deals with him appropriately - presumably a member of the abhorrrent BNP

At last a proper sentence for an horrific crime. I hope they have the most awful time in jail too, I think they will be got at unless they are kept in solitary confinement or whatever it's called these days.

Glad too that the short 4 yr sentence that chap got for punching the poor man with Aspergers, so that he died, will be looked at again and increased by several more years. Far too many people die like this, one punch in anger or drink, and another life is lost, what a waste.
