Not too much sofa today - I've done some washing, and now I'm boiling the turkey bones for soup! :-D :-D
The neighbours are coming in for drinks and nibbles tonight, so I'm looking forward to that.
It's a beautiful clear, frosty day, though, so I'm hoping to find time for a stroll in the forest :-D :-D :-D

Good afternoon all from a very cold but sunny gloucester. Not going anywhere today, just put away all the Christmas presents we brought back from M Keynes. Somebody thinks I am dirty, I had 5 bars of soap!!! That will last a while, all nice ones though.

No one told me it was Sofa Day!

My house is a disaster zone and already today, we have cleared the garage and made one trip to the council tip.

Getting a new kitchen and utility fitted at the end of next week and there is so much clearing out and storing to be done.
The work is estimated to take 2 weeks. There is so much electrical work needed and even the plasterboard walls are being replaced ( existing tiles will not come off).
An adjoining room has to be emptied of furniture too... a dining table, 4 chairs, a bench, a sideboard, a desktop PC and associated furniture.
I dont quite know how we are going to manage it???
