He ought to be smiling!

I have just had the electricity bill and know it would not have been anywhere near the £700 mark had he not been tumble drying every day but that is what I choose to put the Attendance Allowance toward I suppose.

I could put him to bed, pay somebody to look in on him a couple of times and go off out indulging myself.

Now there's a thought!

And he has slid out of his wheelchair again. Where will it end I ask myself!

He had to go to the café for his roast, even if the water was up to the pavement at the top of the road.

Missed the edge of the pavement and slid forward with his feet in the water.

His poor mate had o hold him up until some builders came by and helped to slide him back in his chair. They came back home so I went and bought the roast as a takeaway.

Can that man eat!? He put an enormous roast away and then, about three hours later, he had a big bowl of vegetable soup and some rice pudding.

It is like having a cuckoo!

Be careful Sharron, the cuckoo pushes the legal occupants out of the nest!!

Sharron, you have to write the book, lol, it would make a wonderful tv drama. So glad that despite the wet feet Fred was able to eat his dinner and still have room for more later on. I do wonder how you manage to show such patience tho, especially with an electricity bill of £700 !!

Bob, he is the legal occupant, it's his tenancy.

And the alternative to being patient is....? The " poor Daddy" frame of mind would achieve nothing at all. The "poor Sharron" way of thinking creeps in sometimes but that doesn't do a lot for anybody either.

I get my washing done. What more could I want in life?

He might get one from the builders.
