I'm loving this series again.
These episodes are with the Dykes family and what a lovely family they are.

.....remembering when we used to watch live and didn't want to go to bed in case we missed a birth :-)

Dear Mau

Hello

Taping the programme as we speak.

Family folk are trying to decorate and spring clean, only to prompt more mess and clearing up!

I am just ignoring everything at the moment!

Take gentle care
best wishes
Elizabeth,
xx

Hello Mau

Did you ever see a TV programme called "Seasons" presented by Alan Titchmarsh?

He guided viewers through nature, weather and folklore customs of each
season.

Fantastic.

Take gentle care
Very best wishes
Elizabeth,
xx

We go to a farm near us where we can see lambs being born......I love it as do our girls.

My poor husband went once, turned a lovely shade of green and won't ever go back :-D

I was just thinking......there they are, picking up the lovely fluffy little lambs, chucking them under the chin, saying how sweet they are.......then send them off to be slaughtered and eaten....I wonder how many of the little kiddies are told this when they go to the farms in the spring :-D

Mau
I watched it as well.I too remember lamb cam - it was fun :-D

I couldn't believe all the regulations that were involved.

I thought the children were lovely and it was great to see them having so much fun.
Take care
Von

Of course certain 'rituals' (for want of a better word) have to be done, such is the life of a farmer, and in some ways to help the sheep.

I think children growing up on a farm must be so knowledgeable about the facts of life, perhaps it's better if we are taught about these things when young? the Dyke children had fun helping their parents.

Grunting and shoving has to happen to all animals when giving birth Sharron lol that's the miracle of life!

Can't say I remember that Alan Titchmarsh programme Elizabeth, but sounds interesting.

....yes we loved those lambcams my OH used to call "are you staying there at the computer all night then?" :-D
