We're just south of the border of Qld & NSW... expect to get some wild & wooly weather early next week, but nothing compared to what the Far north Queenslanders will be getting.

I've been watching the bureau website all week.

I've got a nasty feeling my nephew lives in Townsville.

edit: that sounds strange - he's my ex's nephew, I've never met him, but my daughters have and are in touch via facebook etc - hence I'm not sure about where he lives :-S

The cyclone has been downgraded to category 2 but even so it will be very nasty causing much flooding :-(

Sunday 3.15pm here.......

The sky is grey, we've had a few spots of rain..........

The coast of north-eastern Oz is covered with cloud.

We're expecting the tail-end of the cyclone....... just lots of rain.

Ita did a lot of damage, but (to my knowledge) no-one was seriously injured.
