Dear All

Hello

Over 35,000 people have been pounding the streets of London for the
34th running of the London Marathon.

A special mention to all those who work behind the scenes, making the marathon such a special event.

Very enjoyable coverage on BBC.

Take gentle care
Best wishes
Elizabeth,
xx

Phew........

Hello Elizabeth.

I have only just completed the course of the London Marathon..........due to the fact that the heel on my stiletto snapped orf arf way through.

I spent the last 13 miles hobbling along like a wonky donkey........

Joking aside though...........congratulations to all.

:-D :-D

I always enjoy watching it Elizabeth and was pleased the weather was so good for all those taking part in it today.

My sister is able to see all the runners passing from where she lives - although since the route was changed around Canary Wharf she sees them going away and not coming up the hill towards where she lives!

My brother took part in it 18 years ago his first and last Marathon at the age of 52 raising money for a children's charity....

Dear Prickles and Joeva

Hello and thank you for your replies

Naughty Prickles.................you should have worn clogs! :-D

Still, we have plenty of carrots for you to munch on and lots of water.

Joeva............the organisers should change the route back so your sister
can see them running up the hill! What a cheek :-)

That's great your brother taking part and raising money.
I bet you were all so proud.

Take gentle care
Lots of good wishes
Elizabeth,
xx
