Reminded me of picking up mums ashes from the undertakers. They gave them to me in a container and put it in a plastic carrier bag.

I was just about to leave when the undertaker (we advertised in the same parish magazine) asked if I would do some decorating for them, so poor mum was sitting patiently in a plastic bag I was holding while we discussed the merits of wallpaper over painted walls.

Bless her, I think she would have seen the funny side of it. ;-)

He went.

I had to go back for him because we all forgot him.

He sat very quietly at the end of the table where he had always sat. Nobody minded.

Have a good time, I am sure those Douwe Egbert jars would do if you don't have a Gold Blend one lol

He is going.

He went to the sausage sandwich place and she said hello to him.

I must get him a Gold Blend jar for going out.

Just how much does it look like a coffee jar?
Perhaps best not to leave it unatended in the kitchen ;-)

Glad to see Fred is still bringing a smile to peoples faces.

Best wishes,
Mayfield

Sharron, does he have a sort of "Sunday best" coffee jar? He doesn't want to let the ladies down!

Sharron

Sharron Report 18 Jun 2014 09:43

He was quite lucky to get a funeral at all.

The idea all along when he was alive, like we told him this, was that he should be pitched head first into the digester cone so we could use his legs to grow runner beans.

The cotton has not come yet.

I am about to start another lavender pillow for somebody.

Fred's mate was asking if he should get a sausage sandwich and a cup of tea for him. Like, open the jar and put it in.

Take him in your zipped bag, see how the atmosphere is, who's there etc and decided on the day whether you show him off or not....which ever let us know what happens :-)

How are the dish cloths coming along??

Definitely take him! Everyone knows you well and will take the gesture in the spirit (pardon the pun) it is intended.

Good old Fred, you can't keep a good man down (or his daughter lol)

There is nobody recently bereaved there..

I could probably tell you now who will be there and they all know us. I think I might just take him in the shopping bag.

His mate might take him over to the sausage sandwich emporium on the bus tomorrow on the bus.

It may upset some people, especially someone else recently bereaved, that's why I said keep it hidden.

You could take it and say it's Fred's last visit, I bet they miss him too.
