There seems to be a spate of this.

It happened to a friend of a colleague of a neighbour of mine once (dear old Mr Snopes).

People love their rabbits. Clever dog to try and bring it back to life. Probably poor dog missed his neighbour's pet and was grieving. Just need to arrange another funeral.

Wonder if they have worked out yet how a dead rabbit had "walked" home to the hutch to die for a second time:-D :-D

my friend's daughter has a colleague who owns a Jack Russel - said dog came home carrying a dead rabbit - owner realised it was next door's rabbit but they were on holiday, so she cleaned it up and nipped over and put it back in it's hutch

neighbour arrives home amd is gobsmacked, telling the Jack Russel owner that their rabbit had died before they went on holiday and they had buried it in the back garden - wondering now how on earth it got back into it's hutch :-D :-D :-D :-D
