Do you remember when Fred was presented with his Arctic Star and a man who had been a German soldier came over and shook his hand? There was a picture of them together.

Hans moved to America with his wife and, very sadly, we have heard that he has died.

It is not a new country for her. They went to live near her family.

He will be missed very much there as well as here.
