Yesterday 16 July we were delighted to welcome a great grandson 22 days early but weighing 6lbs 2 oz. (our first)

Caught everyone by surprise but none more so than his parents. His father and uncle were planning to build the flat packs for the nursery this weekend. They only moved into this house two weeks ago. :-D :-D <3 <3

Thank you all for your wishes. His paternal g.parents live abroad and have been desperately trying to get a flight since yesterday! First g.child for them as for my daughter and husband.

We are being kept up to date - 18 photos on tablet so far! <3

Congratulations to you also Jemima - <3 His father's parents finally got a flight albeit middle of night one arriving 6.00 a.m. this morning and were in the hospital at 7.00 a.m. Think the nurses must have taken pity on them!

Apparently g.dau did not get much sleep - her son decided he was hungry - all night long. The joys of motherhood
