Having been a veggie for ever such a long time I have worked out ways to concoct those things I miss most. The result is that I can hardly move at the moment.

I use a fair bit of Quorn, which was not around when I stopped eating meat and can knock up a fairly average meal.

The day before yesterday I knocked up some suet pastry although I would like to find an alternative to vegetable suet because of the damage that palm oil plantations are causing. Anyway we had a rasher roly-poly that day with Quorn rashers and today we had shepherds pie and a jam roly that was made with the rest of the suet pastry, with custard.

Well, now it hurts to move!

Shocking new figures show how hundreds of people in the UK are being hospitalised with malnutrition as cuts leave them struggling to afford a decent meal.

More roughage! And a stroll around the village if you can manage it.

That one didn't cost much and I can tell you it was well filling.

Stroll round the village? Please? Gentle push round in a wheelbarrow is more like it at the moment!
