A surprise visit from grandson gave me a smile yesterday....got a big bear-hug too.

He'd been working away over Christmas and we didn't expect to see him until the New Year.
He's gone back to work now, but that brief visit was really welcome.

Aw how nice Gwyn <3 my big brothers home today I can not wait to see him, he too works away now n missed Christmas with us this year, but not before giving me my Christmas present, a week all inclusive to Mexico!

The nights are getting lighter.

This year (thank goodness) is nearly over.

Snowdrops will soon be here and then it's spring.

My 9 year old grandson is coming to stay for New year's Eve. He is such a lovely boy, and having him here is better than any party you could ever go to! :-D :-D :-D

Well let me see...had a terrific Christmas Day with my family,
Was spoilt rotten and so was OH :-D

My lurgy is at last going away and my voice is getting back to normal
was fed up sounding like Minnie Mouse :-D

Everything in hand for Hogmanay, family and friends coming to us.
All good here Stray, counting our blessings so nothing to complain about. <3

Oh and I'm off to the hairdressers cause I'm looking like an old English Sheepdog
which is not a good look for a Scottish lassie ;-)

It's been an awful year - both personally and 'in the news'.

However -

I have recently lost about half a stone (not really trying!)
Our poorly dog is now almost back to normal
I've just bought myself a new handbag :-D

Oh emma i bet bring pampered having your hair done will make you feel wonderful, i love a good hair cut!

We've had a lovely Christmas

We had a surprise party on boxing day for my mum who's 86 she loved it weplayed silly little games of bingo and had a quiz

I didn't win but I didn't lose :-D

But the best news of all was

My daughter has been doing her master's degree in chemistry and passed

With a distinction which is the highest you can get
So she is now a

Master of science
