I am the only one out of bed here and I'm going to have another coffee before preparing vegies as I am cooking a turkey dinner for this afternoon for eight of us.

New year resolution: I intend to read more in order to expand my general knowledge, thereby concealing my woeful ignorance.

Well, I've said goodbye to many an old year ;-) some I was sad to see pass and some I was glad to see pass ;-) and the year that has just passed was a year I was really glad to bid farewell to :-) as it was especially difficult for me in more ways than one :-( so I want to thank all my friends on GR who helped me to keep my chin up and who cheered me up when I was feeling down :-) your kind messages helped me get through the year <3 so <3 Thank You <3 for all your good wishes and encouragement <3

I hope that 2017 will bring you lots of joy and happiness <3 and I wish you and your loved ones

Nooo Fly. K and I got home around 3 pm and the others were going strong. I am guessing they're all still asleep because they said that they'd ring to ask what time dinner would be. 4 pm cos I want them awake to eat. :-D

Tonight we have four staying though so it will be another late one. Two of them are little short of party animals but they work hard and play hard. :-D
