I don't like football but OH is an ardent Tottenham fan.

We compromize, he watches it in the front room but does not have the sound on, well, ther would be no commentary at the match would there? He also does not shout instructions because they are quite a long way away and might not hear him.

Anyway, I think they might be doing quite well because, every now and again, he kind of sways about and waves his arms in the air whilst moving his jaw up and down.

Fun to watch.

Today it has to be Saints day for the cup !! Forget overpaid Manchester.... :-D

Sharron, why not get headphones for your o.h. ? They make life so much better when one person is watching something no-one else wants to hear, even in the same room. I do understand your reasoning about the football match tho, but a silent match doesn't have quite the atmosphere perhaps.

What is football....it's like golf but for more men....a good walk wasted...and for out of work actors who go for the oscars every time they take a fall.... :-D
