As a musician he inspired so many.

Let me here some rock and roll music
Any old way you choose it
It's got a back beat, you can't lose it
Any old time you use it
It's gotta be rock 'n' roll music
If you wanna dance with me

RIP

One of the truly great men of the C20 who with Muddy Waters brought the blues and rock n roll to th rest of the planet. He had an uncompromising life style and endless respect from his fellow musicians esp Holly, Jagger. Lennon. The Wilburys, Clapton.
Immortal.

Only ever had one No1, My ding-a-ling, but many more hits also played and recorded by probably thousands of musicians across the globe.

RIP

I watched his 1972 concert in London on Sky a few months back and it was fabulous! A unique voice, expressive face with a lovely smile and such rythm in his body and great music. I often play his CDs in the car and in my teens I played his music on cassette tapes in the old van I drove! RIP Chuck, you have certainly left us something to remember you by. <3 <3
