Seems they're estimating an invasion to the UK gardens of approx 500 Billion slugs this year.

As a snail lover I'm offended :-D :-D

I will be killing them by the bucket load

I have over 2000 lettuce seeds in and 200 beetroot seeds
100 cabbage plants and god knows how many carrot seeds

No way are dirty Slugs getting anywhere near them ;-) ;-)

I need every lettuce to grow
to feed my tortoises
The giant one eats me out of house and home :-D

So slugs and snails have to go

Tip for gardeners

Put beer traps in your neighbors gardens not your own
Beer attracts the slugs

So better to have them in your neighbors than your own ;-) ;-)

Trouble is emptying it out afterwards...then again if it's in your neighbours...
