Hi Crewella I see you have had a small name change lol. PauI Sorry but I can not help you with your quest, Maybe someone on this thread may be able too, but I think you would have more success if you put a message on trying to find board. As we mainly use this thread to chat to each other, but you are more than welcome to join us if you want. Cheers Sue

G'evening Wattlers, Waiting for the southerly change to come through it;s very muggy and still in the Gong. Dianne welcome to the wattle club, yes we are a friendly lot, no agro. Mary Glad you are having a good time and resting. Very frustrating when new hot matches come up and you know they are linked and they don't reply ( can't understand it really. Sylvia good to see you pop in, hope all is well with you. Joodles where are you hiding these days, don't see you around too much lately Trying to do a bit more research, but am starting to hit some brick walls just lately with 2 branches. Ok will call it a day and have a great evening all Sandra in the Gong

Aussieone Report 9 Feb 2006 08:55

Paul well if that is the case dont think it was of no use leaving a message then. As I said I can not help but we do have a couple of very good Family historians, that know a lot more than I do. One of them may not be on here for a couple of days as they have had personal family upset. But if you can wait Im sure they may be able to help when they come back on boards. Cheers Sue

Hi Mike Yes the weather here at the moment is rain and it has all day. We had the footballers over from the mainland yesterday and it was beautiful barbie weather. As for the American surveys about slimming, I think I will continue with what I am doing, no fat, no sugar, plenty of water, and walking 45 mins each day, also having 4 small meals instead of one main meal. I got on scales this morning and got a shock after 3 days I have lost 2 kg. yipeee!!!!! Cheers Sue

Lewella Report 9 Feb 2006 09:04

Hi! again everyone. Lewella and Liz, I don't know any Essex Girls jokes, but I think Essex Girls are supposed to be sexy. I think it 's probably because of the Sex in Essex. It doesn't make sense to me and I don't think I was ever particularly sexy. If I was, I've grown out of it now because I am 77. Norman isn't too bad at the moment thanks, but he is always miserable and so depressing. I booked him in to a Nursing Home for a week's respite a fortnight ago, but he refused to go when the time came. He still gets taken out one day a week,so I have to make the most of that. I will drop in sometimes when I have the time. Love to all from Sylvia XX

Morning all, Laurie - your parents 71st great grandchild? Good heavens, no wonder I want to split my Australian family history in half - its sooo heavy!!! My daughter will be contributing to the long list in April also. Laurie if you are doing look ups - can you find out any more about Abraham and Ann ??? ~~~ just kidding ~~~ (Its ok folks, that's the thorn in our side - we are back to 1725, and just cant find out any more - its been that way for about 20 odd years). That is our brick wall isnt it mate? You didnt say what date you were coming home? Sheesh, now I will have to go through pages and pages to find out when you are leaving - I forgot to write it down :-( Come on all you Wattlers, rise and shine - its after 7.00am Joodles

Gwenda Report 9 Feb 2006 20:37

Morning all & nice to see you again Joodle Belle I'll join you in an early morning message. It's 7.30 here now and I've had my 20 min walk around the block - it would take 30 but I walk like the devil is after me. Hi & welcome to Wine Trifle. Congrats Anna - it's nice when things fall into place. Don't worry about OH - you don't have to be up tooooo early or do you have to wake your daughter? Make this short for once and go get in the shower before I wake 19yo son so he can get to work. Have a lovely day everyone. Hugs for Barb - know what she is going thru - I lost my dad 32y ago - still miss him. Catch you later Gwenda

Patricia Report 9 Feb 2006 21:04
