Know not what to write today Rather boring was my day Lots of ironing needs to be done But I know that’s not much fun Must remember to buy a card Or Valentines Day will be marred News from far and wide we need Come on folks and add your screed

Anna Report 13 Feb 2006 01:46

Oh friends, hello, I trust you're well Some memories to Dorothy I will tell Perhaps 'Separate Tables' is a play you know I played Sibyl long ago. Quite the opposite in 'Breath of Spring' Poor Hattie's antics were my thing. Remembering 'Breath' a second time when I played Lily - how sublime! Such a hoot was 'Absent Friends' Evelyn - so bored as Ayckbourne intends. 'The Importance of Being Earnest' was a crowd stopper My role was Cecily - so prim and proper! Utterly spellbound - I loved the stage But that was in another age. Very happy now to be amongst the audience you see. Wish you well with your new play Do have some laughs along the way!

Full of vigor how I wish can't be bothered to wash a dish Got to try out my hot match you never know a rellie I might catch Just noticed why do I have message at the top and no-one else does??

DorothyG Report 13 Feb 2006 22:19

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone hope you get a card from someone I'm keeping my fingers crossed too One that says so sweetly ''I Love You'' Just to say Anna that our next play is a Drama - a very serious story KJB, MI5 and Nazi Germany - about Alan Turing, the Enigma code which brought freedom from tyranny Laughs will be thin on the ground I fear, hope there's a comedy later this year! My role was Gwendoline, snooty bitch! But pulled it off without a hitch! Never played the others of which you tell - am awaiting a chance to play Lady Bracknell! Oh for a chance to play a part that's really strong like Virginia Wolff or Cleopatra - but they're a bit long Perhaps I'll stick to Cameo roles now just as much fun - and I still take a bow!

Anna Report 14 Feb 2006 11:46

Quickly rushing in to say have a happy Valentine's Day! Roses, chocolates, dinner for two or a card that comes with love to you.
