Magi Report 7 May 2005 19:17

Hi Jenny, have got a Turkish newspaper interested in 'Gaynor Bears' story, due to me rabbiting on about it at school. (One of the mini-bears will auctioned off to the highest bidder and the cash passed to you - told all the teachers they can only pay in Euros!) They (the newspaper) have asked for photos and a write up but I need permission from you first. Magi

Gaynor Bear is now in Wakefield with Gem. Jan and I decided I would go to York to pick Gaynor Bear up as Jan had a slight problem and I couldn't have done it on Sunday as I will be in Whitby but I could have passed it to Gem any week night as I don't normally work after 5pm. Sue

Hello All from Gaynor and Gem. Gaynor Bear is asleep, she has been out with the boys from the Football team at their promotion party, and got a tiny bit tipsy! She has had her photo taken with some of the football team, and is going to learn how to pull a pint tomorrow. Will update everyone on her stay in Wakefield. Gem:)))

Just to let you all know. I still depend on this thread, to know what is going on in the GB Relay. Please use this thread to tell me what you are all up to and if you have any problems within your Group. All of the Relay groups really do need to keep in touch with me. Even though you do not have dates as to when you will be likely to have GB enter you group, it would be a great help to me if you could let me know what might be planned for the group and give me a very rough idea as to how long GB will be in your Group. Thanks Jenny x

Good morning everyone. As far as I know Gaynor Bear is now with Keith Red Devil. The handover was to take place outside the TV studios in Leeds at 6pm last night. I could not get in touch with Sue Smith during the day yesturday, so arranged for Keith to meet Claire and Jacks. I do not Know if the Television people were involved or not. I managed to get in touch with Sue Smith and Margaret in Yorks last night. Sue will receive GB from Keith on Sunday. Sue will then take her to Margaret on Wednesday. Where she will meet the Mayor of Doncaster. Could Margaret and Geoff (Robin Hood) Group 3. please arrange the next handover. Thank you all. Jenny. x PS. The first lot of Mini Gaynor Bears will be put in the post today.
