Becs It was just the shock of reading all the threads. I'll be over my maudlin mood soon. Your right there is a lot of positivity about and its wonderful to have all these people pulling together for the relay. I'm excited about the Sahara - I'm almost ready, I've found my passport, getting my boots next week, don't think I will need much else ........ If you're taking your laptop I won't take mine. Jxx |

OH HELP PPLEASE Been out today looking for boots and what can I say - it's all in me head and not on me feet!! I didn't realise how many sorts of boots there were. Went to a proper outdoor place and the chap there lost me within the first 1/2 hour. Leather, Nubuck, those gortex looking things - oh gawd. So please could someone list what I need to look for in the boots (besides comfort). I've got to get me boots for walking in the desert with a whole bunch of mates and don't want to let them down.
