Just thought I would pass on these names. They were found in old pieces of furniture years ago, a dreaded telegram from the first world war Informing a B.Riley that Private J. Appleby of the Welsh Fusiliers missing in action on the 6th.nov.in Egypt 1917. A National Registration card for a Thomas Whitely, market gardener of The Grange. lofthouse, Wakefield.dated 1915. and a certificate of a Baptism in the Parish Church of ST. Peter, Liverpool. for Alexander Hope White or something similar as its hard to make out,dated 1863 All a bit tatty,but I will pass them on. Jan Carr.
