Hi too all in Bucks this morning couldn't believe it when I woke up this morning, Stokey was covered in a thick blanket of snow, and I thought it was meant to be spring! have a good weekend everyone :) Elaine

Nope, still Winter, Spring starts on the 21st doesn't it ? We've got snow here too (Milton Keynes) although I'd say less than 2 inches. Last flurry was about an hour ago. Len, father does indeed still cast an eye at the ladies (although not when mother is around!), and still does pretty well generally, fairly active, just starting to feel the cold etc. His mother was 94 when she died, I like to think he'll outlive her, although it's tempting fate to say such things ! Hello all in Bucks I was born in Weston Turville, and have rellies in Wendover as well. Not sure how far away that is from you all as I have been living in Staffordshire since I was 4, I'm now nearly 50. Apart from going back for holidays in the summer until I was about 8, I haven't been there since. Jan

Hello Janet As you have probably read earlier on, I don't actually come from Stokenchurch, Ibstone or Turville, but it feels very homely to me. My relatives hailed from those areas. Are you new to the site? Hopefully see you on this thread again. Sarah.

Hi Sarah No, not that new, about 9 months, but have been busy . Just moved house and what with decorating and courses I go on haven't had much time to go on boards. Have still been having the occasional peep looking for ancestors though. Seem to have hit so many brick walls. How are you doing? Jan

Morning Denis Yes, still researching my Birds. Mine are tending to come from dear old Stokie, but, I could have some ancestors lurking around the Lane End area. It is nearby, after all. Regards Sarah.

we went into the caves a few years ago and keep saying we'll go back but never seem to get the time. I love Most Haunted and can't wait to see the episode. Elaine p.s. has anyone ever looked around the old graveyard there, very interesting.
