Just some general thoughts: It is interesting to note that the ratio of registered users and the total number of names has remained at a ratio of 1:10 pretty consistently since I have been using the site. If there are a few users with massive numbers (like 17,000) in their tree then the average for the others must come well below 10. The current UK population is around 55 million and we presently have just 4 million names to choose from here covering (say) 200 years. It seems to me that whilst there have been some recorded successes, the total number of names logged on needs to multiply by a factor of 10 or more to make the chances of links being established a reasonable possibility. So keep on adding them, please.
