Gedcom is a file format created by the LDS (Latter Day Saints) as a way to allow people to transfer their trees between different family tree software and other people. If you own any family tree software it will normally allow you to export your data to a gedcom file. By uploading that file here you can avoid repeating any work you may previously have done.
