Stephen - I accepted that there would be difficulties in including a county field so I'll try not to be too disappointed if you don't manage to include anything. On thing worries me though, "Plus the site has the potential to be worldwide". Don't get me wrong I know your running a business and therefore a worldwide venture would be great for you, however the very thing that makes this site special and sets it apart from all the others is that its UK only. I appreciate that many people have already entered foreign relatives but if you take the example of Genealogy.com, Ancestry, Rootsweb, Gencircles ... they are all dominated by American entries. Searching, for an example in my own tree, for Morgans in Preston on any of those sites returns thousands of Morgans from Preston County, USA or the dozens of small towns called Preston there. I don't want to spend hours sorting through to find the english entries. Thats not just my attraction either, many people on the genealogy newsgroups have said the same and so have some here.
