Just before I bid you all goodnight, who of us watched Alistair McGowan who turned out not to be scottish but way back way back after a decendent from anglo-indian turns out to be Irish! He was staggered at the findings. Jacky, I wonder did you get any pointers from the Indian connections?

I missed the first half as we were watching the Everton v Master (?) game. Now I may be a red but that was a game wothy of at least semi-final excitement. Both teams played extremely well. Ok so that's the positive remarks for Everton out of the way!

Sleep tight all, let's hope we get some sunshine again tomorrow.

I was gobsmacked at Alistair McGowen last night; his background is so like mine !!!

When at the end he was looking for his Scottish "root", i laughed and said all i need now is for them to say Ireland !! you could have knocked me down with a feather when they did.........

It answered so many questions on my own personel research, I always wanted to know if i was Anglo Indian due to me being dark haired,brown eyed and a "browner".skin......it appears i am..........

I think everyone in Liverpool called me after the programme, and said how alike my background was to Alistairs...............

they had a lot of that kind of work
i didnt think in those days they would have took their wife ,

Hope we are all well. Very interesting was Alistair McGowans genealogy, interesting especially for you Jacky with your Indian connections. Maybe some more pointers in that show for you than you realise, who knows!

The weekend is here at last, just good to be off work even if it does only mean I can catch up ont he housework. Happy to do that anyhow.
