I went to Molton & Brown today, i got 4 small gifts and they cost me £180.....oh, i got a freebe - a tiny bottle of body lotion....Lol

I was thinking of our Rog today, he will have been getting all the last of his summers growth out of his allotment - and getting his spuds sorted.....he loved the outdoors i think......WE miss you Roger the Dodger !!

Having a lazy evening, i'm out shopping again tomorrow and out tomorrow night to the fancy dress birthday.

Rose the prices havent half shot up - i'm going to Cheshire Oaks tomorrow, my daughter likes Molton & Brown, they have a shop there and its much cheaper than anywhere else....i hope to get a fair wack tomorrow in the shops - fingers crossed.

Waiting for the party on saturday - my mate was laughing on the phone before - we are meeting in a mates house then she will drive us to Port Sunlight - she asked how i'm going to get in / out the cars with my dress being so tight - i hadnt thought of that....ROFL !!

................nice to see you had a good birthday jacky
................been dull here but very mild , went shopping in sunderland today got a few things , was very shocked to see how the prices of body shop have gone up to , never bought anything .
......................my spare bedroom is looking very full think i'm storing everybodies xmas gifts they are keeping away from the kids .
..................seen some people who have put their decorations up already
think they are mad i would be really sick of them by xmas
always say december is xmas month the rest are to prepare ..lol.

Had a nice day yesterday - lots of goodies,,,,,Lol

Went for a meal in a country pub in Rainford last night, i enjoyed it as well, when i got home, i got in my pyjarmas - and blow me down, i got visitors, i always get copped...Lol

Doing the back garden today, the weather looks lovely and it needs a good doing due to all the leaves.

Hectic around here too got my OH back after his week + stay at his dad's looking after him while his mum went on her cruise with her granddaughter. Jury's still out if it's a good or bad thing him being back home! lol

Weather has been a fine old mix as is typical and I'm paying no attention to the forecasts - take it as it comes, what else can you do!?

Stillhoping my big girl is cominghome to stay and visiting Ireland from now on, looks likely she is so fingers feet and toes are all crossed! I'll keep you all posted.

Wet and misrable here today - yuk..

I may be getting my daughter home in Feb too, she has an appartment but wants somthing a bit better now, she said she may come home and save up for a better deposit...Lol

Been rushed off my feet in work with my work partner being off on s/l, we also went on essculation and everything went mad - i had to do so much - i'm shattered - never ming though - i'm off work now until the 2nd of Nov.....Yabba Dabba Dooooooo!!!....Lol

Oh well, i'm going to be a lazy mare tonight - why dont you too..Lol

Good evening Rose, Jacky and our Rog

Weather is starting to cool down a bit now, second night with the heating on, hate winter but do love being all snug and warm indoors. Going to make a nice hot milk in a bit, oooh real comfort. If I had chocolate in I would make a nice hot chocoalte but can happily settle for hot milk :)

Peace and quiet for you then Rose with Nathan not being around. I MAY just be getting my big girl home from Ireland for keeps and I really hope it happens. She's been over there for over four and a half years so it's well and truly time for her to come home me thinks. She doesn't have to live here alothoug we'd be a good stop gap until she gets back on her feet, just want her back in the 'Pool'.

Keeping all in our thoughts especailly Rog and your family.

So much going on - family unwell between my dad and Steve's dad who has been in hospital and only came home yesterday. We've both had heavy colds shivering achy but not what either of us would consider flu OR swine flu. Little Leigha has been pretty poorly too BUT we're all on the mend now and fighting fit. Just have to accept it that at this time of year we're all going to be picking up germs and sharing them around!

Been catching up on all your news. Realised it's just over two years since I had to redo this thread, how fast has that time flown by hey!

Still waiting on a plasterer to come out and give us a price for the living room. Plumbs want £1090 to recover our suite. Now I know it's a really good suite even despite it being over 13 years old it's still in very good condition just the material has 'blown' on it as my Steve puts it - basically it's tapestry weave and the warp has walked out of the framework! But that much money to recover - that's not even refurbishing it just making loose covers. Phew. Going to have to shop around or buy a new one. Will miss the old one if it has to go.

Well my friends, of to bed now. Steve is staying at his Dad's while his mum is away on her cruise with her granddaughter. 84 years old and just got her first passport!

Just popped on while my son has gone out, i dont like sitting on the computer when he has come down to see us.

It looks like my work mate is going to be off work next week as well - i will be up the wall...............God help me...Lol...but then i go on my A/L for a week.

My work partner has been off again - her sister is unwell - i'm so stressed ....ARGH

One of the men in work, his birthday is on halloween - he is having a party in Chester...his name is Paul, so we all have to dress up as something beginning with P.......i was going to go as a lady of the night,,,,but changed my mind....ROFL
So, i bought my outfit.......its Morticia from the adams family - i know it dosent start with P but.......i'll be Princess Morticia....Lol, I tried it on before and it looks great - need black nail varnish and i'm done! Just going with my work mates - we'll have a good laugh.

Rose, you are doing well with your shopping, i need to get a move on, my son is home at the weekend, so i'll go to town next weekend.

....................i dont think i will be staying in thesame area when i move since both our parents died theres nobody i visit round here any more
lots of new people and young ones now . although my friend does live near but we will still see plenty of her , even when we go to malta which we will eventually she will be the first to visit .

........................going to the town tomorrow see if i can buy more xmas pressies want them all in as soon as possible , so i dont have to rush in december .
................................my nephew is getting engaged om 27th of nov. looking forward to his party , he asked her to marry him in mexico on holiday
