I am so sorry to hear about your son's girlfriend. How awful for everyone. It not only relies on us to be aware and ensure early detection but as this case proves it relies heavily on the medical profession to act when a lady or man attend with serious concerns re their health. My thoughts are with all.

Well Rog, Rose and Jacky, what a lovely day it turned out to be here in the Pool, despite raining nearly all night, dried up this morning and out came the sunshine. Congratulations to you too Jacky on your century of clicks on this new thread!

Wear it Pink day tomorrow for me and my colleagues and school kids - the smell of cakes baking in school, coconut ice, iced biscuits etc, our kids are going to be so stuffed as I'm sure they'll all bring enough money for a ton of cakes each. Got my pink wedge sandals out so hoping it stays dry!

Oh and I think we need a new rule, we can only super-nudge if there are say ten to go to the next mile-stone ie if we're at 90 obviously 10 more would take us up to the next hundred and if say we're on 990 then obviously the next ten would take us up to the next 1000. I think it's safe to say that, as I am often on here a bit later, I have been guilty of super-nudging more than 50 to lay claim to next hundred. If we keep it to 10 then it makes the competition harder! What do you all think? Answers on a postcard!
