Hope all are well.

We had a FANTASTIC Wear it Pink Day today. From the contributions @ £2 per head (min) paid by all the staff and from the sale of cakes contributerd by every staff member - we have about 18 staff altogether - we have raised a total of ...


























... £189 so far!


AND There are more cakes to sell tomorrow which will raise a further £5 or so. One lad dressed in a tutu, fairy wings, pink fluffy crown and a pink fairy wand raised £25 himself for getting dressed up. Two street cleaners contributed a pile of change after one of them had spoken to one of our Year Six girls after he had asked her why so many kids are going to school wearing pink. Talk about a phenomenal success. I have taken quite a few pics so I am going to put them on www.wearitpink.co.uk with some blog about the fundraising. Fantastic!

I am still buzzing from the whole day and probably will be for quite some time yet.

Awwww poor Rog feeling all neglected! :(

Just came back on to the comp after watching the Pride of Britain Awards. So so many brave people out there, we have so much to be grateful for whatever our circumstances.

Hope you feel better really soon Rose, there are some things you would much rather your children/grandchildren didn't share with you and being sick is one of those things. Take care Rose.

Speak tomorrow, just going to make a Thank You card for all my colleagues for all their hard work today.
