I take it you won't 'be forever blowing bubbles'?

quick joke to get you in the mood:

After a visit to the doctor, Dean Ashton, the Hammer's, striker dropped in to his local pub for a quick one. "What's up mate?" asked his friend Brian, "you look worried."

"Yes, I am," Dean replied. "I've just been to the doctor's and he told me I can't play football."

"Oh, really?" said Brian. "He's seen you play too then, has he?"

Darl, When I was young (and misguided) I was a Spurs fan that was back in the days of Graham Roberts, Glen Hoddle, Steve Perryman and of course Ozzie:

''Ozzies goin to Wembley,
his knees have gone all trembly,
come on you Spurs,
come on you Spurs''

Another joke to balance it up and so you don't know who I support these days (that way I can insult lots of teams lol :))

A man is sitting in a pub with his Jack Russell dog one Saturday afternoon. The football results are coming up on the television in the corner, "Aston Villa 2, Tottenham Hotspur 1," reads the announcer in his normal, rather sedate, voice.

Suddenly the Jack Russell dog jumps up and shouts out, "Oh, no, not again."

The shocked landlord says, "That's amazing. Why did he say that when the result was announced that Tottenham lost?"

"Because he's a Spurs supporter," the dog's owner replies.

The landlord then asked what the dog says when Tottenham win a match, to which the man replied, "I don't know. I've only had him three years."
