Hi all just a wee update

I'm still living one day at a time but I'm getting stronger all the time

Tho I'm suffering lots health wise I am finding that I need to do something to occupy myself but don't no wat to do and I lose concentration pretty quickly lol

Maybe Ann I did have a good night sleep last night asleep before two o'clock in morning which is very rare for me lol

Maybe you had been dreaming. Good that the panic attacks are more manageable though. :-)

A wee update my panic attacks are getting more tolerable and are getting better to handle but today I woke up in tears for no reason but hay tv that's life I suppose

Hi all just a wee update

I've been on these bew antidepresstion tablets for about five weeks now and flipping eck I really feeling rough with them

Sleeping is worse then ever headaches is yucky doing me head in lol but the doctor is still keeping an eye on me I hav to c him next week

Tho i am accepting what has happened with this person and I can do without likes of them in my life for now

I am still getting panick attacks they seem to b getting less and less all the time and I'm learning how to deal with them again so hopefully will stop altogether again

I just wish I wasn't in so much pain with my legs and ankles

No I didn't fibd any barrens at the car booty, first time I'd been in ages lol

tinkers I am so glad things are moving on for you and your lift is done. Hope the shower happens soon too and you won't know yourself eh? The new tablets sound as tho they are helping you, well done for the outing to the boot sale, did you get any bargains?


Interpretation of Dutch's post lol : I spoke with Joyce the other day as it was Jan's bday, and she has had a wisdom tooth out but it's made her ear sore, so she is going back to the dentist. She has some problems down under so I told her to ask the doc about them asap

She is doing quite well I think as she manages to make herself understood very well when chatting and is determined to visit the UK again in August when Jan can drive her over, as she can't fly anymore.

Shame the meet Uzzi is planning isn't later as she could be there too but can't be helped.

Hello Ladies
realy feet up had awiston toouch out and then i have had ear ache and pain in my face so going back on monday to see the dentist,but now i have one of the nurses who comes to wish me ,she said its bright right under neath your pravet port and i going the toilet aloat and it bains i dont no what it is ,so the docter is coming to see me as i have pains in my head which i dont like it seems i dont have much luck

Afternoon everyone

Things are looking more posative for mr I even managed to go to a car boot sale thijs morning which I haven't done for weeks and I quite enjoying having a nose about lol

I think my new pills r starting to kick in as I have had 2 so so nights sleep tho I'm falling asleep between one and two in the morning I'm sleeping right threw till bout 9 o'clock which for me is good

I just want to say thank you for for listening to me and putting up with me I couldn't hav done it with out u r

U all have been brilliant

Aww I've been havin problems putting message on here it kept saying oooopps lol anyway lift is finished workmen gone yesterday afternoon inspector came this morning Saudi het was happy with the work so I got onto my occupation therapist to let her no they've finished the work and I was happy sooooo she said she will get the ball rolling for my shower so I'm can't wait till that happens

I been to c my gp again this mornin as last time I saw him he changed my anti depression tablets and he morning the increase them so will hav to c how things go with these and c him in two weeks

Since they started work on the lift I am feeling abut more posative in myself and I'm not in teas so much now tho I'm still havin panic attacks every other day I'm starting to learn to luv wiv em again and going up to bed I don't hav to fight myself going up the wooden hill



Oh and me poor doggy is wondering wat on earth is going on bless her

Day four for the workmen in the house fitting the stairlift and it's almost finished it's been a long week but well worth it

Will make life lots easier

Dear carol thank you so much for starting this thread I am going to miss you as you have helped me so much over the past few weeks


Yippie the workmen actually turnd up to start me lift he came about 11 this morning and left bout half five but finishing his job tomorrow then we'd and Thursday the lift will b fitted yippeeeeeee ill b glad when it's finished

Carole has asked me to post a message for her. Her subscription to GR has expired and she has decided not to renew at this time My understanding is that she will still be able to read messages, but not be able to post.
I think we should give a big round of applause to Carole, who had the 'intestinal fortitude' to make the initial post for this thread. Carole , thank you for bringing the topic of depression and anxiety out of the shadows, and into the open. Your brave post has helped folks to open up, in a safe place, and continues to be a lifeline. In addition, I know some of us have made new friends thanks to this thread..

He did turn up bout half hour ago, I'll b glad when it's all finished and everything back to normal

You do that, tinkers, fight your corner as is your right, and it will help you let off steam if they don't turn up. Hope they do tho and things get sorted out quickly.

You will feel lots better if it's all done and your room back to normal

Thanx ladies my bedroom is emptied and I'm not the sofa tonight I'm bait nervous in case they don't turn up If they don't turn up I think I am ready to fight my corner as I have waited so long for this to happen

Hav been told it'll take four days for it to be done ill b glad when it's over and done with and get back to normal lol

Well tinkers, I hope the company get their fingers out and fit your lift for you, so you can get your room back to normal and sleep in a bed again, with ease getting up to it as well.

You sound much stronger so keep up the good work, I know life often seems like one step forward, two back but just keep trying hard to ignore the words and actions of this nasty person and look after yourself and o.h.

Take care, onwards and upwards, literally when that lift is in.
